Learn to sew in just 4 weeks!

Dust off those sewing machines and join accomplished fashion designer Christine Phillips for a four week in-depth sewing workshop. Whether you are a beginner or need to hone your sewing skills, this workshop is for you.

It’s time to get your creative juices flowing! In this four week workshop you will learn basic sewing techniques for functional, practical stitching. Learn the proper sewing tools to use, learn how to take correct measurements, learn how to read a pattern and select proper fabrications for a project. Start with the basics and end with a pair of magnificent loung pants. You will leave confident in your sewing skills and inspired to Sew and Sew some more!!

Fashion Show “The Reign”

It’s that time of year again!  Please join, Christine Phillips for her 9th Annual Fashion Show and fundraiser, “The Reign”.  She will be premiering her Fall 2010 collection. A portion of the proceed to benefit the (IMF)  International Myeloma Foundation for bone marrow cancer.

When: Saturday, January 30, 2010

Where:  National Constitution Center

             525 Arch Street, Phila. PA.

Time: 6:30pm - 10:00pm

Enjoy 3 coarse dinner, gourmet desserts by Le Pierre Caterers, music from the outstanding DJ, “DJ Bishop”, instrumental pieces by the NJ Philharmonic, Chinese Auction, and complimentary gift bags.   Watch as Miss New Jersey USA 2010, Chenoa Greene, takes the runway and TV celebrity guest, Stephanie Humphrey (KYW3), hosts the Fashion Show Extravaganza.

Each year Christine Phillips’ shows are hosted by well know TV personalities from the local news station and SOJO 104.9 FM to a sold out crowd! 

Proceeds from the show benefit the IMF (International Myeloma Foundation (www.myeloma.org) for mulitple myeloma cancer research.  Mulitple myeloma cancer is one of the 10 leading causes of cancer death in many years.  Myeloma is a cancer in the bone marrow affecting blood production.

Menu:  Cote De Plate Beef filet slow cooked, with Apple Cider, Molasses and Maple Syrup. 

Flounder with Fresh Herb Panko Crust and Lemon Caper Sauce.
